Site Opens 2pm Friday June 10th, closes 2pm Sunday. Troll will be closed from midnight until 8am so that the trolls can sleep, and closed for the event at 4pm Saturday. Site is pet friendly (if leashed, and accompanied by a responsible adult) and alchololic beverages are permitted.

10:30am Field Heraldry Tactics - Lord Knute Hvitabjorn Learn the basic strategies for crying the camp at NOWM - how to use terrain and timing to your advantage to reach the maximum amount of gentles at a time. 11:00am Quick Quill Calligraphy Quest - THL Milesent Vibert Who is the fastest quill in the Midrealm? It's the night of the big tennis match in the monastery, but Brother Bob won't let anyone leave the scriptorium until the day's writing is done. Whoever finishes first gets the best seat at the tennis match, but if you make mistakes, Bob's going to make you sit down and fix them. (ie: a time penalty will be added for typos.) Please BYOQ (Bring your own quill) if you have one, limited loaners will be available. Prizes will be awarded for beginners, advanced, cartridge or dip pen categories.Dining Hall1 hour
11:00am Basic Drumming - Lord James Barkley Rhythms and techniques for the beginning Middle Eastern Drummer. Bring your doumbek if you have one. Participants will learn how to hold and strike the drum and how to play the three basic notes, as well as some basic drum rhythms. A limited number of loaner drums will be available. Beach 1 Hour

1:00pm Starting a Theatre Troupe in the SCA - THL Sofia Tyzes A discussion of dos and don'ts when forming a theatre troupe in the SCA. The instructor has worked with 3 different troupes, including one in the East Kingdom, one in Northern Oaken, and the Known World Players, which performs every year at Pennsic War (now in their 6th year). This class is not a lecture, more of a round-table discussion to share and learn from each other.Classroom Tent 1 1 hour

2:00pm Thrifty Anachronist - Lady Aurora de Vie Your guide to SCA flash without much cash. The Thrifty Anachronist class (as featured in the book The Knights Next Door by Pat O Donell) breaks down the styles of every SCA era into fashion elements that can be found in the everyday world. It focuses on turning thrift finds into SCA treasures. There is a handout available for $1. Classroom Tent 2 1 hour

3:00pmScribal Arts for Dummies - Lady Cinara Maria de Trujillo Excellent for beginning scribes!! This course will cover what steps need to be taken in order to begin your first scroll. Learn where to look for inspiration, and how to translate your ideas into a finished scroll. There is a handout available, donations requested. Classroom Tent 11 hour
