Schedule and Activities
Site Opens 2pm Friday June 9th, closes 2pm Sunday. Troll will be closed from
midnight until 8am so that the trolls can sleep, and closed for the event at 4pm
Saturday. Site is dog friendly (if leashed, and accompanied by a responsible
adult) and alchololic beverages are permitted.
Activities:
- Heavy Weapons combat, including a Friday Night Torchlight Tourney (With
LOTS of Torchlight!) Seige wepons are welcome!
- Fencing - authorizations, practice and melees, as well as Friday Night Torchlight Tourney.
- Youth Combat - Youth Boffer and Rapier will be held.
- Archery - War Shoot practices including War Clout, Royal Rounds and more!
Range opens Saturday morning.
- Thrown Weapons of all forms.
- Dancing! Western English Country (Friday night in the Wedding pavilion, location TBA on Saturday) and Middle Eastern. Including a middle-eastern Hafla Saturday night.
- A Bardic circle Friday night; come with your best gnome story for a chance to win a prize.
- Plenty of hands-on classes, appropriate for participants of all ages both on Friday night and Saturday. Contact our class coordinator Dame Alys If you would like to teach. Hands-on classes are preferred to 'lecture' classes. Please include a title for your class, a brief description, and the length of the class. Note whether there are any limitations as to participants. Also include whether you need any special considerations for equipment that you will use, such as space for a fire, etc. Class schedule and listings
- Brewer's roundtable and tasting. Bring your Mead! Site is dripping wet.
- Saturday night beach side feast.
- Coffee Tavern open for breakfast and all day
- Swimming - at your own risk! Stay within the roped off swimming area!
Swimming outside of the roped area will be grounds for removal from the
event.
- Shopping in the shade! Merchants are welcome, please pre-register
through the merchant coordinator. Bring your own tables and tents.
- A Royal Court, at Her Majesty's convenience.
Please note prior to the Torchlight Tourney on Friday night there will be a wedding. Please extend the courtessy these current middle ages are famous for to the wedding guests, many of whom have never attended an SCA event before.
