There are three classroom spaces, Classroom 1 is next to Troll, classroom 2 is next to the kitchen and The outdoor classroom will be under the pavillion.

Drawing from several authors in the 15th and 16th centuries, we'll look at the foundations of German martial arts, how they utilize a power chain and an aggressive philosophy of combat to create a versatile, powerful and in-period martial system.

Wood Jointery - Outside (Near building) 10 am to noon
Shlomo Korebenik - The ancient art of wood jointery is largely unchanged through the ages, other than the tools used to construct structures without nails, screws or bolts. Shlomo will discuss the use of two essential joints -- the dado and the mortise & tenon -- and how they are made. There will be a demonstration using power tools (weather-permitting, as the site requires the demo outdoors). He will also show an current application of both joints, the latest version of his camp slat bed design.
Bead Embroidery - Classroom 1 - 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Giovanna Giovannelli- $5 fee for supplies and handout - This class is hands-on, focusing on the hard part: curves and small shapes. After practicing this, straight lines are easy! Supplies provided include canvass fabric, hoop, nymo thread, beading needle, beads and a handout.
Beginning Drumming - Outside - 1 pm - 2:30 pm
James Barkley - This class will take students from the very beginning and show them how too prepare for drumming, how to hold and hit the drum, and how to play some basic middle-eastern rhythms.
A lady's hat of the 1500's - Classroom 1 - 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
Sarra Bossard - Learn how to make one of the less common women's hats worn by European women during the later 1500's and make a pattern for one of your own. Fee of fifty cents for handout.
Beginning Bookbinding - Classroom 1 10:00 am - noon
James Barkley - This class will discuss how to use a period style book binding loom and gives plans on how to build one. A brief history of book binding and the parts of a book will also be discussed. Maximum attendance will be around ten to twelve.
