Upcoming Events:

Afternoon of Fun is fast approaching, the gatekeeper was here tonight, pre-register and save some cash. They are raffling off a set of semiprecious late period jewelry at the event.

Our neighbors the Shires of Oakford and Castel Gwent are holding a demo on October 7(?), we've been invited to help out

The January Event has been moved to February 2nd. Those interested in cooking at the event, please see Fitz

SCA Buisness:

Dulcia is stepping down as A&S Minister, if you're interested in the job please see her right away, she'd like to provide the Baronial officers with a list of willing candidates next week.

At December Dessert Revel there will be an A&S Display, see Dulcia for details.

The Musicians Guild will be meeting next week to start working on some new music. We hope to have something ready for the Jan..oops...February event..

Please remember your tithe, the rent we pay for this site is $50 a week, we ask $1 from everyone, if this is your first meeting, please be our guests.

The last meeting in October is Halloween, please let the seneschal know if you have opinions about meeting on that night or not.

Non SCA:

Lady Constanza is out of the hospital, healthy and happily pin-less. Remember everyone: do not put pins in your mouth! Especially when fitting Calum.

There will be a wedding in the hall this Saturday (Congratulations Jared and Maggie!) if anyone would like to aid the happy couple by moving tables in the lower hall so that it is set for Saturday, it would be appreciated.

There is another important event this weekend, the Coronation of Palymar and Aislinn. For those who have not attended a Coronation (or just haven't recently) it is one of the best events in our Society for pageantry and spectacle and the magic that makes a King into an ordinary man, and an ordinary man into a King.
