BARONIAL INVESTITURE:

Christina is Angharad's stand in for the night, she has food info and is taking folks suguestions and requests so that we can have more food than anyone could possibly immagine at this Dessert Revel. We will be in the Community room for the Investiture (On the first floor, middle of the long hallway) If you have banners, bring them to help beautify the site. The cooks guild is meeting this sunday to prepare recepies. There will be a sound system available for dancing.

DEMOS:

Ohio Mart is coming up fast, it's a big demo for Gwyntarian and they'd like our help. Demo runs Saturday the 5th of October and Sunday the 6th. You must sign up to get into the site free. Also volunteers are eligible for a free tour of the beautiful tudor-revival Stan Hewet mansion.

Thursday night there is a demo for the Shore Center, there will be fighting outside. Armouer's guild will be meeting at the demo. The demo runs 6pm to 10pm, you can show up earlier for setup. There will also be fencing at the demo.

October 4th there's another possible demo, more details on that next week.

Valley Forge School is looking for a demo for a class September 30th. See Nial or Alex for details.

We're still waiting for details on the Rainbow Babies Hospital demo.

SCA BUISNESS:

There will be dancing after meeting upstairs in the light

We are going to rent a third room, the room has a wooden floor so will not be used for combat but is well suited to dancing. It will cost an extra $35 a night so please remember your tithe. We ask $1 from everyone, $2 from combatants. If this is your first or second meeting, be our guest. We're also looking at getting a full time room again, it looks like they will accept our insurance now. If you have opinions please see Nial.

There will be no fencing at meeting next week because of the Investiture.

Archery is still meeting saturdays at Albion woods and sundays at Lucus archery. They're starting to practice for the Winter Challenge shoot. For the guild competition, 10 folks submitted scores and the prize for highest score goes to James Barkley who shot 15 points with his crossbow, most valient attmept goes to Bastian who shot zero points and most lost arrows goes to Darius who sacrificed three to the range.

There is a ladies-only fight practice at the home of Lyonnete and Milesent on Tuesday nights, see either lady for details.

NON-SCA:

Vashti's moving this Saturday and is willing to pay for help with food.

If you're going to Crown Tournement Oct 19th, Snowden would like to talk to you.

Westgate resale on Detroit Ave. has a lot of wood and pewter feast gear at reasonable prices.

Monday nights there's a Middle Eastern Dance exchange at the Gallery Cafe on east 185th street starting at 8:30 pm. There is also an open drum and dance night there on thursdays. All that is asked is a sugested donation to the cafe owners.

Jared still has 8 tickets to the Improv this friday. They're free, see him if you'd like to come along.
