There was a brief royal court held some time before meeting. His Majesty expressed his gratitude for the great number of impassioned opinions he recieved and announced that they made their decision for the new baron and baroness based on the populace vote. Ephraim and Madelaine recieved more than 60% of the vote and will be inducted as the new baron and baroness at September Dessert Revel.

Lord Nial was not here so Rutgur ran meeting, opening with a reminder to please pay your tithe, we ask $1 from everyone, $2 from combatants. If this is your first meeting, please be our guests.

SCA BUISNESS:

Armourer's guild is meeting as usual thursday night, blacksmithing will be going on if there is no rain. See Timothy or Silverthorn for details.

Snowden would like to meet with rapier combatants about the Fellowship of the Oaken Blade meeting scheduled for Pennsic.

Suprise being given next week's meeting, see Fitz for details.

Archery is meeting as usual this sunday at Lucus Archery. There is a guild meeting tuesday at the home of Bastian and Katy, see Bastian for directions.

Remember to write down your A&S activities, after Pennsic classes will start up again see Edward Brackenburye for details or to volunteer to teach.

There is a cook's guild meeting on sunday at Eldred and Clairiel's. Show up 3pm ish, there will be preparing dishes for Dessert Revel, outdoor cooking and general fun.

For anyone who missed the earlier court, Rutgur announced that Ephraim and Madelaine will be our new Baron and Baroness.

August 3rd Dugal Kerr and his finace will be in town, Shlomo and Elisabella have contact info, see them if you'd like to say hi to Dugal.

Edward Fitzranulf sold the car! And there was much rejoicing.

A new farm and frieght store just opened in Strongsville off of Pearl road, Regan has a flyer.

Lady Alex still has a sewing machine that needs a new home

Jess from the CWRU Medieval Society reminded us of two CWRU demos upcomming, Saturday Aug 24th is the student activities faire, some help would be welcome for that, and September 7th they want to hold a small tourney, fighters and fencers welcome. See Jess for details.
