As Nial could not be with us, Darius ran the meeting.

Baronial Polls are due June 8th, you can turn them in at Northern Oaken to Nial, reportedly Sir Finn will also be in attendance, though to keep things clear, give polls to Nial and let Nial give them to Finn.

There was no one to collect polls at meeting.

NORTHERN OAKEN WAR MANEUVERS:

Volunteers are needed everywhere, most of the big events this season were rained out but we're predicting sunny weather for NOWM, this means we're likely to get a heck of a crowd! Volunteers are needed at Troll, in the kitchen, serving feast and with the Shire Reeve, if you're not sure where to volunteer, see Crispin and he'd be happy to help you find a spot.

There is a heavy weapons schedule for the event, Rutgur is still looking for assistance with the torch light tourney friday night.

Pre-Reg and save time in line, Troll will be opening at 2pm on friday and closing from midnight until 8am so that Christina can sleep. Troll closes for good Saturday evening whenever court is.

There will be a full war shoot for archery at the event plus a suprise

Waterbearers are needed as always, Francesca is coordinating waterbearers again. If you are bringing milk jugs to the event, leave them at troll (there will be a pile) and make sure they are washed out well! caps aren't needed.

Servers are still needed for feast, Garvin's going to have two buffet lines to efficently deliver food to the masses, servers eat for free! See Garvin to volunteer.

Peredur is leading children's activities as Marsaili's new deputy. He'd like to meet any parents interested in children's activities.

Youth combat is starting at 1pm on the field, there will be a ribbon tourney and perhaps some melees. If you're interested in Youth combat or becoming a marshal in training see Ser Nick

Gunthur is the Shire Reeve for the event and will need lots and lots of help, see him to volunteer.

There are 26 merchants pre-reged for the event! Shopping will be good!

We do pay for this site, please remember your tithe. We ask $1 from everyone, $2 from combatants. If this is your first or second meeting, please be our guests.

Troupe Hareem Sha'reem will be holding middle eastern dance classes at every meeting except dessert revels, from 7-8pm. Starting with stretching, if you want to participate just wear comfortable clothing, a hip scarf if you have one. See Celeste for details.

Armourer's guild is meeting thursday night as usual

There will be no archery this weekend due to NOWM and Lucus Archery is having their grand opening so they'll be closed anyway.

In the Rose Tourney this last weekend Lady Li made it to the semi finals aquitting herself well, hubbah! and reportedly Her Majesty has asked Li to serve as her rapier champion!

The Literary Review is being delayed, many appologies it shan't be ready for NOWM, however Lyonnete has high hopes of finishing it by dessert revel.

It's not too late to get started on those pennsic garb projects! see Madelaine - our needleworker's guild mistress- for help! She'll be at all the meetings between now and Pennsic barring any disasters.

Aurora's T-Shirt Emporium's in buisness, she needs 60 confirmed sales before she puts in the order, shirts are $10 a piece

The Fellowship of the Oaken Blade is raffling off a schlager, see Fitz for details. Drawing will be held at Northern Oaken, buy a ticket, buy several, they're cheap.
