From the Autocrat, Steve: Anyone going out early Friday who has a large vehicle– see Katerin or me, we have a lot of stuff to take out there.
Edward Brackenburye: all the classes are up on the website
Sarah Rex: Troll is open tonight: last chance to pre-reg. Get it while it’s hot! We still have room at feast. Still need servers.
Katerin: Servers needed- eat feast free
Timothy: security and parking need help, see him.
Darius: Thank everyone who has brought water jugs, if you can help volunteer to water bear to the archery, equestrian, fighters, see him.
Nial: If you’re bringing anything to the brewing tasting, there are sheets to fill out, so see him to fill out a sheet for the tasting. Yes, sheets will be available at the event.
Pennsic Pre-reg is closed! If you haven’t pre-registered, looks like single camping!
SCA Announcements:
No armorer’s guild this week as Timothy will be setting up for the event. And no armorer’s guild next week as our hosts will be out of town. Still looking for a replacement as head of armorer’s guild. No experience necessary.
Kathryn ferch Rhys: As Pennsic approaches! We will be teaching, a few at a time, all the dances on the list for the Masked Ball at Pennsic. If there is anything on the list you want to learn, see her.

The baronial radio is back there for the dancers!
James: There will not be any achery practice Sunday because of NOWM. Elayne Von Konigsburg is in Metro Hospital for heart problems, send happy thoughts to her direction, there is someone standing in for her at the event as deputy. Also, he needs help moving archery equipment to site. It won’t all fit in his Chevy.
Emrys: the chip carving class next week at 7pm sharp! Har har
Celesete: Dance troop will be teaching how to make very simple middle eastern garb for Pennsic at desert revel- patterns
Hoods: we got these hoods… well, we got these pieces of hoods. See Lyonnete if you are interested in sewing two halves of a hood together for the Midrealm.
Sarah Rex: Baycrafters and the ren faire here in Euclid will be coming up faster than you think, end of august and beginning of September. Labor day weekend, need tents, things to show off, people. Lady Delante will need a lot of help, she’s never done a demo before. Start thinking about what you can do to help.
Darius: There is an upcoming demo in this building for the day care center. And he’s stepping down as demo coordinator. Volunteers?
Sir Nick: NOWM: there will be youth combat this weekend. Pampasan from Red Spears will be marshalling since Nick has to work. If you are interested in youth fighting, this will be a great event to go to- usually a small turn out, 6-7 kids. We’ve doubled the number of youth marshals in the barony in the past week: Nial and Serena hoobah! IF you are interested in becoming a youth MIT, see Nick, Serena or Nial.
Rutgur: Based on the sogginess, there will not be any fighting on Friday night, sorry. There will likely be a novice tournament early on Saturday to consume the prize for the torchlight tourney. Need list table volunteers.
Alianor: Herald in charge for NOWM, if you’d like to help cry the camp see her.
Matthew de Beaumont: Forums are up on the table!

Ephraim: Welcome back Silverthorn- please fight with us. How many of you have ever shot archery? I mean one arrow ever in your life? How many of you are shooting at Pennsic? I’d like to tell his Majesty that everyone who can shoot in Cleftlands is. The archery point is won by margins of less than one arrow per archer, because the average points earned at Pennsic is less than one arrow per archer. Please put your name on an arrow and bring it to NOWM to place in His Majesties Quiver. Madelaine and Ephraim will be doing so, as our commitment to Pieter and Nan that we will be shooting for the Midrealm at Pennsic. You can shoot more than one! But please put one in the quiver, and only one. We want to show them what sort of support the archery war point gets from the cleftlands. Therea re a lot to do at the event besides court, if you can contribute elsewhere as well – 5 mintues here or ahalf an hour there- please help make this a good event as it has been before. It has to be the best ever! See you Saturday!
