After which he opened the floor for questions:

Duchess Emmelyne asked if, considering how much misunderstanding and how many mistakes there have been, the numbers of the poll could be made public to make us all feel more comfortable with the decision. Lord Nial replied that he would discuss the matter with the Royalty and Kingdom Seneschal.

Ailienor asked if the letter would be posted to the website, the webmistress replied that it would be included with the minutes which are always posted.

Only three weeks to go!

The Saturday before the Event (June 1st) we're meeting at the site at noon, bring work gloves and dress for work. Clean up will happen all afternoon, and once the site is clean there will be archery practice, fighters are welcome to come and have a fight practice, there will be a bon fire, and camping overnight. See Crispin or Stephan for details.

Volunteers are needed all over the place, shire reeve assistants, servers and troll volunteers.

Speaking of troll, our Trollop Cristina would like to see more of the event than the troll booth, see her to volunteer. She is also accpeting pre-registrations, fees are: Camping $10, $6 day tripping. $6 for feast. Children 4-12, $5 for camping, $3 for day tripping, children under 3 free. pay early and save time in the troll line.

There is still room for classes during the day, I'd especially like to have a garb class of some type. See Milesent for details.

There will be a bridge battle, an official unbelted champions practice, possibly a belted champions practice, torchlight tourney friday night. See Rutgur if you'd like to help out as a marshal or list mistress for the tourney.

For archery, there will be a clout shoot, advancing man, children's archery and a suprise. See Darius for details.

The scribes are preparing a gift for Their Magesties. See Guenhwyfar if you'd like to contribute.

There will be a herald's consulting table set up at the event, see Knute for details.

There will be a LOT of shopping at the event, 18 merchants have confirmed, there may be as many as 29.

There will be fencing melees and authorizations at the event, come learn to crew the cannon!

The feast menu should be posted soon, the event flyer is wrong, feast is not $5, it is $6. Those of you who've already paid, it's our bad so you've got a discount. Also servers eat for free, see Garvin to sign up as a server.

Christina needs help getting both her stuff and the archery stuff to NOWM, see her if you've got car space to lend.

SCA BUISNESS:

Peitro's looking to meet with those interested in hearldry after meeting

Bronwen Elvina's back from Ireland, she's got some beautiful pictures and documentation including a cd rom of the book of Kells (which Master Aiden's borrowing) see her for details, mostly viking and some celtic stuff.

Lyonnete's laptop was stolen, if you sent her something for the literary review please re-send it and to get the literary review done in time with this major set back, she's going to need some help. If you'd like to help lay out, edit etc. See Lyonnete.

The Fellowship of the Oaken Blade is auctioning off a beautiful $175 schlager made by Gladius the Alchemist. Only 175 tickets will be sold. Tickets are $5. The drawing will be held on the Sunday of NOWM. You do not have to be present to win. Proceeds going to all sorts of wonderful things, a fencing video, ammunition for the cannons, regalia and so on. There will be archery this sunday at Lucus archery as usual. His Royal Majesty is interested in starting a monday night practice at Albion woods on the west side, that range does not allow crossbows. See Gladius or HRM for details.

Armourer's guild is meeting thursday as usual, see Timothy for details.

Cook's guild will be having a meeting sometime after NOWM to play with supplies and materials, see Ealdred if you've an opinion on when to have the meeting.

Next week is dessert revel, Lady Alex will be holding her glass painting class. Remember to bring a piece of glass to paint if you want to participate. She will be providing brushes and paint.

Milesent is updating the Baronial Directory. I want to get it out soon so please, check your information. If you've an opinion about formatting (eight and a half by eleven verses a smaller, folded version. Can't stand small type, etc) please gimmie.

Elayne's going to be at the Euclid Public Library 6pm thursday night, join her there for Red Cross training. See Elayne for details.

Brewers shall be bottling in the next couple days, they've about 25 gallons or so of beer to bottle. After NOWM they'll be brewing meads, see Nial now about getting honey.

The Baronial officers have all signed off on the purchase of Middle Kingdom and Known World handbooks, the complete set is going to cost about $120, see Nial if you've opinions or objections.

DEMOS:

This friday there's a demo for Laurel School in Shaker Heights, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, lots of help is needed, see Darius for details

June 23rd there's a demo for camp Homatakoda, see Darius or Lady Alex for details.

NON-SCA:

Wild Oats market on Shaker Square is closing, they carry honey, ginger, and lots of other good food stuffs of sca interest. If shaker square is not convienent to you and you'd like Angie to take a look for something for you, she's willing to do so, please see her.

The Solon Mustard Seed market has Monty Python Holy Grail Ale... for those who might be interested in such things.

This weekend Ailenor and her family are moving, their new house is five houses down from the old one so they won't be renting a truck, however able bodies are needed and will be paid with pizza. See Ailienor for details.

Garvin has part of a house he needs to tear down, anyone who wants to have fun tearing down a house see Garvin. alcoholic consumption may occur as well. Date to be announced, after NOWM.
