And there's a rumor that there's a lady who may make the Lecher an honest man! From His Grace:The Standard Bearer's event had the largest attendance for such a small baronial event that we've enjoyed in a log time. He extended his personal thanks to those who competed in the tournaments, there was an impressive number of combatants for each title. Congratulations to Lothar de Normandy for being Our Standard Bearer once more (the standard bearer's tournement came down to one decisive combat, it was a very close race between Lothar and Edward Brackenburye), Ian as our new Champion d'arc, far outshooting his competators, (Paul came in second and Valorian third) Edward Fitzranulf as Champion d'epe (noting that the fighting for that title was particularly hard this year, there were three contenders for first place and four for second going into the final round, Ealdred of Gwyntarian came in third, Sir William Ransom came in second) Finally, Stephan von Lubeck was a logical choice for Champion d'arms, having competed well for all three titles. And a reminder, there are only seven weeks until war! It's time to get those projects you wanted to have done for Pennsic 25 started!
And that is all for this week. Milesent |
