SCA Buisness:

Milesent is updating the Baronial Directory, if you've moved recently, gotten an award, joined a household etc. Let her know. Also, CWRU Printing Services can print the directory, folded and stapled for about $1 a book. (We'd save 30 cents if we folded and stapled 'em ourselves, but that's a lot of work.) Since about 200 directories are needed (there are more than 200 names in the directory), this would cost approximately $200. Those with opinions about this expense please see our seneschal, Milesent or our Exchequer. (General concensus at the meeting was that this was not an unreasonable expense and the barony can afford it)

Archery practice is sundays at Lucus Archery from 1 to 3 pm. They're shooting Winter Challenge scores, get your score in and make our Barony look good. For directions to Lucus archery see your favorite guild member

From the Baron and Baroness:

The Autocrats of the North Oaken A&S Faire and Military School send word that they are looking for teachers, particularly of the arts martial. If you are interested in teaching at the event, please contact the autocrats. (Chronicler's note, the website for the event is: http://www.geocities.com/brendoken/a_s/index.html )

At the event this past weekend, His Highness Peter gave Ephraim a red and white hood. Fighters, if you travel to an event His Highness is at you will have the opportunity to pledge your service to the crown at the upcoming Pennsic War and recieve such a hood yourselves. Archers, prepare your bows, fencers prepare your steel, and combatants all prepare yourselves. If you are not certain what you are going to do this Pennsic, now is a good time to be thinking about it. Pledge to shoot one round of archery, to serve on the field or in other capacities. It's not too early to be planning. August will be too late to start planning, unless it's for next year's War.
