As Lord Nial is out sick, his lovely assistant Rutgur called meeting to order with a reminder to pay your tithe, we do pay for this space, we ask for $1 from everyone, $2 from combatants, if this is your first meeting, please be our guests.

There will be no meeting January 2nd.

Domesday reports are due or past due! if you are an officer, get your reports to your seneschal!

JANUARY EVENT:

It's December, the next month is January! We have an event! Ephraim and Sarah are still looking for sugestions for site tokens, easy and cheap is acceptable, creative would be even better. There will be a January event staff meeting as early as possible in January. Timothy is the gatekeeper for the event, there are only two meetings left before pre-registration closes! There is a flyer for the event in the seneschal's folder, and up to date information can be gotten from the website

SCA BUISNESS:

One correction, the A&S tokens for Her Highness, please just put Alys, instead of Alys Katharine, it's shorter and there tends not to be much room on a token. For complete details on the A&S tokens for pennsic, there is a sheet on the table, and it is listed on the Royal webpage:

There will be archery practice this sunday, 1-3 at Lucus archery. For the following week... well... watch the website. It'll be posted if folks want to shoot or not. The archery guild bought two of the archery butts from Lucus archery, these were purchased at a fraction of their value, a good deal for the barony, they should come in handy at future events.

There will be no armourer's guild this week or next.

The minister of A&S position is still open, give your letters of intent to Karl or Lord Nial as well as proof of SCA Membership inside the Barony's borders. Also, as usual Karl has his A&S sign up sheet, let him know what you've been up to.

Alda would like to talk to anyone intending on attending the Aethelmarc 12th night on January 12th.

After meeting Lyonnete will be giving a brief class of Choathardies over by the chalkboard, if you're interested in learning how to make the sort of dress she is currently wearing, please see her after meeting.

DEMOS:

There is a demo tomorrow night! Thursday 12-20-01, 7pm until 8:30pm at Oxford Elementary school, near the corner of Noble and Monacello, Darius forgot to bring directions, but he'll email them to the Cleftlands list later tonight.

Non SCA:

Lord Fitzranulf's good lady mother Jehan de Lurr made an entire basket of beautiful christmas ornements, please take them, they're for you. Fitz'll pass on words of thanks to the good lady.

For those of you on the Cleftlands mailing list, Shlomo was kidding! it was a joke! leave him alone!

You are all invited to a caroling party at the home of Eldred and Clariel, invitations with directions are on the table. Good food is promised, as well as fun.
