DemosOhio Mart is this weekend! You need to be signed up to get into the event. Call or email Katerina right away! Also you will need a parking pass, available on the table by the tithe basket. Everyone is welcome, fighters, Dancers (Hawise hopes to see someone other than herself dancing!) See Katerina Peregrine for details (her email and phone are on the back of the ohio mart brochure) Rainbow Babies demo has been delayed, the hospital is short-staffed at the moment and needs to have a staff person there for the demo. The Demo is rescheduled for February. Madelaine has fabric for anyone wanting to make gifts for the children and Peredur would appreciate help and imput on the puppet show. See Lady Alex for details. Donasian's working on it, it is due to a computer failure, hopefully the data is safe and will not need to be re-created. A notice will be sent to the list when the list is back up. Scribes are meeting at Master Aiden's on Tuesday at 7pm for a scribal workshop. See Aiden for directions. There were about 10 cooks who contributed to the desser tables last week, hoobah for all their hard work! Angharad took any unclaimed dishes home, if you are missing a platter, plate or spatula, see her! The Chatelain's Lending Library is in business, see Lady Alex if you'd like to borrow any of the handbooks. This quarter's A&S report is closed, if you've done anything in the last couple months please let Lord Brackenburye know for his future reports. He's also looking for sugestions for classes at Dessert Revels and regular meetings. Archery is meeting as usual on Saturday at Albion woods and Sunday at Lucus Archery. Anyone interested in France and 12th century french woman's costume, Bronwen Elvina, Aiden and Hely are recently returned from a voyage in that beautiful country and took a lot of pictures of some contraversial statues for 12th century costume enthusists. Armourer's guild is meeting as usual thursday night, see Timoth for details. Some may remember Andrew, Janet and thier children Maynard, Ellen and Mark from South Africa who attended our meetings a few years ago. They moved abroad but still made it to Pennsic these last few years camping with the Three Bears. Sadly Andrew passed away in his sleep a few days ago. The family is gathering in Cairo, anyone wishing to send condolences please see Eldred. Non-SCAFor those interested in dancing, an excellent English Country music group is meeting in Columbus October 12th, see Aiden or Angharad for details. A Mundane English Country Dance group meets in Lakewood Friday the 11th of October. (forgot to write name down) has a pair of beaded slippers that are too big for her, they're a Ladies size 12. Anyone interested please contact her. Aurora has an 8' by 5' trailer that needs a home and a canvas tent with a single poll currently in use at a Renn fair for say, asking price $850, and dinette sets for sale.
