Events:
-The Barony has a new procedure for event bids. The date for next year's January event has been scheduled and the barony is now accepting event bids. If no bids are recieved by June 30th, there will be no event-thanks to everyone who helped at or came to January event
-Hoobah to Bernhard and Alex for a wonderful event
-Nial, Wulfgar and Fitz and co autocratting NOWM-if you are interested in helping, see one of them
-Weasels is coming-event staff see Rhydderch
-This April's regional A&S fair will be hosted in Cleftlands-discounted admission to judges
-NOWM needs someone to handle food for the event-see Nial, Wulgar or Fitz
-anyone who wants to teach a class at the A&S fair should see Giovanna
Announcements:
-February Dessert Revel Milesent will be teaching a class on how to judge A&S-unofficial fencing practice will resume this Sunday as usual
-There will be a demo Monday evening 2/5 at the Kenston Middle School-fighters and A&S are wanted
-armorer's as usual
-cook's guild at Angharad's as usual-making kale with mussels and chicken pynade
-Polls will be mailed out next week to all paid SCA members living in Cleftlands and Eastwatch. These polls will be different colors, only for the purpose of tracking the area.
-non-member polls will be available for anyone who is not a paid member, or who is a member living outside the Cleftlands/Eastwatch area. These will be available by request from Katherin; an announcement will be made when they are available.
-There is no age minimum for the poll-anyone can participate
-the polls will let you rate each couple individually. The candidates are not rated on a scale compared to each other (1-4) but each on their own
-we will have approximately three weeks to complete and return polls
-Please ask the candidates any questions you may have and read the letters they have written
