Events:
-pre-reg for January event is closed-clean up help at the end of January event would be much appreciated
-January event needs help for set up on Friday 5:30 to 8-ish
-help is always needed the day of the event
-if you are interested in serving feast at January event see Katherin
-NOWM will be the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of June-Nial is the autocrat, Wulfgar and Fitz are the deputy autocrats-they need someone to take charge of all the cooking of the event which is a seperate bid and a seperate budget-if you are interested in applying for the position, speak to 1 of the three autocrats and see Katherin for forms
Announcements:
-today is the last day to submit a letter of intent for the position of baron and/or baroness-At January Dessert Revel there will be a chance to meet the baronial candidates
-the current baronial candidates are
Milesent and Edward
Kat and Conrad
Artair and Birna
Crispin and Giovanna
-unofficial fencing is not happening this weekend-it will resume 2/4
-at Dessert Revel Lubeck will be taking $90 checks for guantlet orders
-Cooks' guild Thursday evening at Angharad's house
-there will be a demo 2/5 Monday evening at Kenston Middle School-they especially want fighters and fencers
-there will be a demo 3/3 Saturday evening in Solon-the event is to raise money for Parma hospital. They would like people in armor and garb to greet guests from 6-7 before the awards ceremony starts. The Cleveland Museum of Art is sending one of their curators with some of the art and armor from the museum. Once the awards ceremony begins, SCAdians will have half an hour to 45 minutes with the curator to see the art up close
