Me Hi! My name is Grace Vibbert, known in the Society for Creative Anachronism as Lady Milesent Vibert. In May of 2006 I entered a competition to make 5 projects in 4 very different areas. For fun I chose to make all five entries based on 16th Century Persia. This project left me with a small stack of research. Rather than let it sit in my closet alone and falorn, I decided to put it up on a website. I hope you enjoy it, please note that this sites contents represent my conclusions; someone else may very well find different conclusions from the same evidence.

There are a number of excellent sites on-line already about Persian costume and arts, some of them are linked on my sources page and are well worth looking at! In particular I would recommend Roxanne Farbi's website and Rashid's patterns.
